We collect information you provide directly: account registration details, learner profile data, payment information processed securely by Paystack, and communications you send us. We also collect usage data automatically. For learners under 18, we collect only information necessary to provide educational services, with parental or school consent as required by the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).

We use your information to: provide and improve SkillsLab services; personalise your learning experience and generate SkillsLab Insights; facilitate school-parent-learner relationships; process payments via Paystack; send transactional notifications; and comply with our legal obligations under Nigerian law. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We share your information only with: schools and teachers where you are enrolled (limited to educational records); Paystack for payment processing; service providers under strict confidentiality agreements; when required by Nigerian law or the NDPC; or in connection with a business transfer with prior notice.

We implement HTTPS encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments. In the event of a data breach, we will notify you and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) within the timeframes required by the NDPA 2023.

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict your personal data. For learners under 18, these rights are exercised by a parent or guardian.
